A trip up to Bozeman started with a Pure Barre class. I can't claim to have nailed it but it was much easier (or at least a little bit) since I've been doing Insanity at least three times a week.
Then, Heidi and I had lunch at Sweet Chili. The service was actually fast and the meal was just spicy enough (at three out of four chilis).
And the Shostakovich... wow. I hadn't slept well the night before and the Pure Barre made me tired but even trying to take a nap. It was just a fabulous trip.

A lovely Sunday float
Lovely day from Carbella to Point of Rocks. Super windy. It knocked me off my board. But it was gorgeous out and I got a 20 minute meditation in. It was wonderful!

Canyon talk - Death, Sex, and Aliens
Only one person showed up for the talk tonight. That's what I get for not listening to the person who recommended that it might not be a good night. Whatever. I persevered and had a nice chat with the gentleman who came and hopefully spread at least a little bit of word for the library.

Canyon book talk
Aaaaaaannnnnndddd, one person. I had one person for my talk. I left early enough to get to Canyon obnoxiously early. I stopped and had dinner in the Lodge (meh) and a drink before the talk. Again, only one person (other than the YCERP employee) showed up. Which was a bummer. But I've experienced that with Turbo before so I sat and chatted with the guy for about 45 minutes, just going with the flow. It wasn't the talk I had hoped for but it ended up being okay.

Floating the river
Today I went down the river with Trudy, Heidi. Emily, and Anna. We left Emigrant at 4 but took a slightly too leisured float because we were nearly 30 minutes late to our reservations at the Grill.

Mammoth Book Talk
Did "Death, Sex, and Aliens" in Mammoth. Felt really good, had a bunch of people I knew. A great start to the series.

Old Faithful book talk
When we were at OF for our work tour, we stopped in the gym. With an ever-hopeful heart, I gave myself an extra hour to get down to the Lodge. I only had 45 minutes by the time I was down there, but I was able to change in the car at a traffic jam and got 30 minutes on the elliptical in the employee gym, a beautiful structure of exposed logs and winding branches... Just... beautiful.
The talk went well, about 16 people. The drive home was uneventful. I got back just about 10 o'clock and, not being very tired, poured myself a glass of red wine and sat outside and watched the stars. Gorgeous way to wind down.
