Running

Two miles today with two good friends. It was the up the old road so some definite elevation gain. But we got to see some elk and my darling baby, golden girl was super stoked to get out for a good trot (Thank god I'm so slow otherwise we wouldn't have gotten to get out.)

Stafford Animal Shelter Fur Ball

Once again, I went to the Fur Ball. Wore a gorgeous blue dress. See below. It was so much better than last year. The group has really stepped up their game. More tables, more food, and actual animals were involved. Oyster shots that were highly enjoyable.

Parental Visit

I think Sam was nervous that Mom and Dad were going to take her back to Indiana. She comforted herself by pulling out every toy possible. And then sitting on them.

Ducks Unlimited

I attended DU again this year. But rather than being a Duck Girl and selling tickets, I helped out my friend Anna who was catering the dinner. It was a fantastic night. Long, but I got paid! Up and down the stairs sixteen billion times and I didn't pig out like normal. It's a win.

The fire alarm went off at work today

They think it was related to the power surge that occurred about an hour ago. But I got to sit in a fire truck!
