Memorial for Sam

Almost a month to the day of Sam's death, Jackie made this awesome memorial rock for me. I put it out near the Little Free Library so the whole world could see.

Turkey Trot

A morning with folks at the Turkey Trot. Dinner at Allie's in Livingston and then another dinner at Candace and Amy's. Never try to do a progressive dinner on Thanksgiving. Just doesn't work.

Walking the Dog

Sometimes a dog gets a little obsessed. On this particular day, my pupster decided that she absolutely wanted to eat a marmot. Why? I don't know. Anything smaller than her is something that Sam wants to explore. I'm not absolutely sure she ever wants to eat them but she does tend to obsess over things. Ever since this day, we have to stop by the school on every single walk. Whatever. She's happy and it's usually only a five to ten minute detour.

Running

Two miles today with two good friends. It was the up the old road so some definite elevation gain. But we got to see some elk and my darling baby, golden girl was super stoked to get out for a good trot (Thank god I'm so slow otherwise we wouldn't have gotten to get out.)

Parental Visit

I think Sam was nervous that Mom and Dad were going to take her back to Indiana. She comforted herself by pulling out every toy possible. And then sitting on them.
