Bridgette's gone

A woman, a fabulous, intelligent and vivacious person, who has been my coworker for over a decade, had her final day of work yesterday. She's going on to a bigger and better job, but she will be missed. When I was just a wee intern, she very kindly took me under her wing and made sure that I didn't hide in my trailer becoming a summer recluse.
I am ecstatic for her and I know we'll keep in touch, but she is going to be horribly missed.
